
What Causes Burning Sensation In The Genital Area?

Question: my gyn says the burning feeling in my genitals is because I'm older so have thin skin....Ointments dont' seem to help...is this condition normal, and can I do anything more?

I was treated for that {after a colonoscopy, had a bladder inf, then yeast. then dr sent me to gyn who tried flagyl then diflucan, then negative test results...thus the diagnosis of thin aging skin, and those two creams to help burning. It's a bit uncomfortable...is this more to just put up with as I age??
