What Causes Burning Sensation, Itching And White Discharge From Vagina?

Question: Hi,im mounica 22 yrs old.few months back i have burning,itching and white discharge in vagina with bad odour,i consulted doctor and she prescribed me vagi cream i think its for yeast infection.when ever i use the cream sympotms subsides.with the stoppage of medicine after 1 week again symptom appears.this is happening for the last few months.its so uneasy.can u tell me wants the reason behind it?.suggestions for my condition and any other medicition or preventive measures?

Yes,im sexually active,i have sex once in a month or once in 2 or 3 months.i havent taken any oral contraceptive pills.Not diabetic.itching is present .white discharge from vagina is present on the walls of vagina

You should go for KOH testing to find out fungal infection.
You should take vagisil vaginal tablet and fluconazole tablet once weekly.
Maintain your vaginal hygiene, avoid unprotected sex,avoid perfumes products and soap.

Should i have to take fluconazole along with vaginal cream or only fluconazole is enough.fluconazole tablet dose.my vaginal itching is not always present only sometimes
