What Causes Burning Sensation Near Waist?

Abdominal cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar,
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having abdominal cutaneous nerve entrapment syndrome(ACNES). The acute pain is described as localized, dull, or burning, with a sharp component (usually on one side) radiating obliquely downward in the lower abdomen. Younger people, who are usually more physically active than older persons, are more often seen for the first episode of acute pain.A properly administered local injection of an anesthetic agent completely relieves the pain of ACNES .The injection serves two purposes: to relieve pain and to reduce herniation of the neurovascular bundle through the fibrous ring. Precise application of an ice cube in a thin washrag can help by acting as a local anesthetic and by reducing swelling around the nerve.I think about it because you have burning pain on one side(right) near waist, CT exclude abdominal causes such as appendix ,pain subsides and reoccurs.
I treat my such patients :-
1.By analgesics such as diclofenac and muscle relaxant such as Thiocolchicoside .
2.Neurotropics such as mecobalamin.
3.Rest
4.Icing
5.Local injection of local aneasthetic with steroid at point of exit of nerve.
You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.
