Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. For sure, they are suggestive of acid reflux. I will like to see you continue the medications and report progress and evolution of symptoms for further consideration. In addition to drugs, avoid chocolates and fatty meals, avoid going to bed soon after eating, avoid leaning forward soon after eating. If you smoke, please stop. If you drink excess alcohol, also stop. These would all help you in addressing this condition.

After taking your medications, always rinse your moth with water. This would prevent opportunistic infections from taking advantage of the favorable conditions created if the drug stay for long in the mouth and throat.

I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

I will do as you say. I don't smoke stopped that a while back and never smoked more than 5 a day. These symptoms started about three days ago. Could stress have something to do with it, you see I am a care giver for my grandmother who has dementia and she has become a full time every 10 minute pain in the butt. I love her though. I also travel back a forth between the grandparents and a wife at home with M.S. Well to make a long story short the stress level has gone through the roof over the last couple of weeks. Hence the symptoms.

Stress causes gastritis and these two diagnosis are related!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Please, when life gets tough we have to be strong to help our loved ones. Please, be strong. also, remember to get help and seek rest from time to time otherwise you may breakdown and let the whole family which seems to depend entirely on you down.

Stress could have caused this. I will suggest you talk to loved ones, express yourself and feel relieved from this huge task. It is good to take care of loved ones. Keep up. every parent wishes that his children stand by them in their old age. They must be proud of you.

I wish you well.
