What Causes Burning Sensation On Both The Foot For More Than A Year In A Diabetic Leading To Difficulty In Walking?
Question: My Father is 72 yrs old, having diabetic for about 15yrs and on insulin for about 4yrs. He has been complaining of burning sensation on both the foot for more than a year. Doctors advised when the blood sugar is under control the burning sensation will go away. however , there is no relief as of now. Because of this burning sensation there is a difficulty in walking. Is there any cure for this or any way to reduce the burning sensation ?

Other possibilities may be vitamin B 12 deficiency or lumbar canal stenosis.
He can take pain modulator like pregabalin,gabapentin, nortriptyline or duloxetine.
Palmiges is a new drug and can be taken twice daily.
