What Causes Burning Sensation On The Buttocks?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: Every evening (almost, that is) I experience burning buttocks. I even sit on ice bags.
Brief Answer:
The burning may be due to something you are eating leading to acidity.
Detailed Answer:
Hi, XXXXXXX
The burning may be due to something you are eating. This is leading to acidity. Excess acid passes down and can irritate the very sensitive area around the anus, causing burning, or evening bleeding piles.
All medicines can add to the acidity.
Can you give me a list? I can tell you which are the more likely causes.
regards

The burning area is not around the anus--it encompasses both cheeks and the thighs.
Brief Answer:
then we will have to look for a cause in the lowest part of the spine
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX then we will have to look for a cause in the lowest part of the spinal cord in your sacrum.
Have you had an x-ray of lower lumbo sacral spine done?
Have you had an MRI of lower lumbo sacral spine?
I do not think any medications will cause burning only localized to buttocks.
The medicines you can try for it--
B1, B6, B12, pregaba, tryptomer, localized capsaicin cream (avoiding anal area).
Regards
