What Causes Burning Sensation When Eating Very Hot Food?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Please, stop eating very hot food!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
Eating too warm food causes a rapid increase in the body's temperature. This leads to dilation of the blood vessels increase blood flow to the periphery(skin) so that much heat can be dissipated. This leads to what is termed flushing which manifests with sweating and redness.
There is no added advantage in eating hot food but consequences. Heating foo is mainly to kill germs and not to be eaten hot. Allow it to cool down a little before you do else you would continue to feel this way. If you stop doing so, there is no further reason to be worried about!
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
