What Causes Burning Sensations In Knees And Elbows?
Question: I am 75 yr. female. As I am waking up (usually from an active dream) I have hot buring stinging sensations in my knees and elbows. It began in my lower legs and has changed position recently.
I am tired the next day and my legs are weak and my arms sting slightly. I have not started a new med.
What can I do and/or what type of doctor can I see? It is always when I am waking up from an intense dream. My address is YYYY@YYYY

I have studied your case. I think it can be due to neuropathy. This can be due to following reasons.
1.Low serum B 12
2.Low serum Calcium
3.Due to Diabetes/Thyroid/ Hypertension
So I would suggest you to get serum B12 and Calcium estimation. Accordingly we can plan further management. If there is deficiency than you can take these medicines.
1.Tablet Pregabalin and Methylcobal one daily.
2.Calcium and vitmain D 3 one daily.
3.Take care of any other medical illness.

Thanks. Do B-12 serum. Pregabalin & METHYLCOBAL come by prescription only?
