Brief Answer:
Steroids can cause that burning up feeling, chills simply due to UTI

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I am sure you are aware of all the symptoms associated with urospesis, and those which were initially associated with the urinary infection as well.

Well the burning feeling you are experiencing is a common side effect of steroid therapy, and so although your core body temperature is in fact low, you feel like your temperature must be quite high due to the steroids in your system.

As for the shivery feeling, chills are a symptom associated with the urinary tract infection and is something that may continue until the urosepsis is treated and well taken care of.

I hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
