What Causes Buzzing Feeling In Head And Nausea After A Head Injury?

default
Posted on Tue, 25 Aug 2015
Question: I hit my head yesterday on a step above me as I was walking down a lower staircase. It was hard enough to close my mouth which was slightly open. For the rest of the day I didn't feel nauseated or have any other issues until I woke up this AM. When I awoke this AM I felt "buzzed", a littler earlier I felt nauseated and like I was going to have a panic attack. I do wear glasses but my eyes seemed blurred a little more than I would usually notice w/o the glasses. Should I go to the emergency room?

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history and concerns.
Since the head-injury has caused to to feel nauseous, feeling of - buzzed, and feeling of as if you were going to have panic attack and bit blurred it is wise to visit ER to get a clinical evaluation done, CT scan and other relevant investigations done.

These are the symptoms which can develop due to internal injury too.

I hope this answer helps you to get an early diagnosis and proper treatment as may be needed.,
