Posted on Tue, 14 Feb 2017
Question: About a month ago, My colon and the end "results" were not what it should be. Instead of regular result, it was very small in nature instead of the regular way it was before. What is causing this? It is not going away. I don't have Crown or Ulceratis according the info in the internet and I don't have any pain or feel tired in any way. Please help.

Brief Answer:
need a colonoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
When the size of the stool is decreased it is concerning that there is an obstruction. The most concerning cause of obstruction would be a colon cancer. The only way to figure out the cause is by doing a colonoscopy. Your doctor can refer you to a gastroenterologist for this test.
Taking vitamins and probiotics and drinking plenty of water are goo things to do, but if the stool diameter remains small then you really need a colonoscopy to determine the cause.
