What Causes Change In The Shape Of A Mole Post Tooth Extraction?
Question: My 9 year old daughter had two teeth extracted last week something weird happened. Her ‘beauty mark’ mole XXXXXXX up after the Novocain wore off. Then when it flattened back down, it turned black and crusty, kind of like a scab. The crusty part fell off a few days later and it is flat again. I cannot locate anything online about it.
The picture attached is what it looked like after the raised effect when away and before the black crust fell off.
Kind Regards, XXXXXXX

Hi and welcome.
I don't see attached photo but this is not unusual and not worrying. There may have been accidental injury of the mole and it has healed now. Nothing serious can happen.
Wish you good health. Regards
