What Causes Chest Pain And Head Pressure?

Question: I am having chest pain and pressure head aches. My heart rate is normal, can I wait to see my dr. Tomorrow ? My iron levels and hemoglobin are low from my January blood work , I have to redo my blood - do you think I should go to a hospital ?
Brief Answer:
Do you have breathlessness?
Detailed Answer:
Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Low hemoglobin can result in headache, chest pain, easy fatiguability.
However I would like to know some more information about your health to help you better-
When do you get chest pain?
Which part of chest is paining?
How severe is it?
When does it increase/decrease?
Do you have breathlessness, fatigue, sweating, nausea?
How much was your hemoglobin when you got tested?
Are you on any medications to improve your hemoglobin?
Do you have any other medical history?
Awaiting for your reply.

I am iron pills. I am not sure my hemoglobin levels. I dont have any history except SI joint jnflammation. I feel very weak and tired. My chest has been painful since yesterday along with an intense head ache .
Brief Answer:
Cardiac chest pain unlikely.Paracetamol & observe
Detailed Answer:
Hi.Thanks for writing back.
If your chest pain lasts more than 20 minutes and is not associated with breathlessness and sweating it is unlikely to be cardiac origin.Easy fatiguability is probably due to low Hb.
I were to suspect -headache and chest pain to be related to Iron pills (they being one of the side effects) and hence would like to know if you were experiencing them before you started this medication.
However I were stop the medication and switch on injections (twice weekly) if cause is being proven.
If the medication and your symptoms are not related, I were to suggest one dose of tablet Paracetamol 500 after food (if the pain is noncardiac) and wait/observe till your consultation scheduled for tomorrow.
Hope this answers your query.Get well soon.
