What Causes Chest Pain And Heartburn Along With Abdominal Pain?

Question: I am 46 years old and in the middle of my chest below my breast i have a itching and pain spot. I am not sure what is causing this. I have gain about 45 lbs and thought that my underwire bra was rubbing against my upper abdomen and maybe causing the pain so i changed to a bra that is not an underwire and am still getting the pain and itch. I have a history of having heartburn not sure if that has something to do with it or if it is a food allergy.

There is no rash. It is under the skin I noticed both together if I push on the spot it is like in the middle of my body between my rib cage. The pain and itching did start together and it isn’t everyday but enough that it gets annoying. I have never had shingles. It seem to have started a few months ago.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Since the pain is superficial and associated with itching, the cause for your symptoms is likely to be inflammation on the skin due to fungal infection (Tinea).
You can apply Lotrimin antifungal cream on the area of itching
Keep the area clean and dry
Wear loose-fitting clothes
The itching and pain should subside in about 10 days.
If you do not notice improvement in 10 days, follow up with your primary provider for re-evaluation of diagnosis.
Hope this answers your question
Please let me know if you need further clarifications
