What Causes Chest Pain When Diagnosed With GERD And General Anxiety?

Ive heard you can have no chest pain and still have a heart attack
Your symptoms fit more into GERD
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern.
The symportoms you describe are very characteristic of GERD , which would explain headache and burning sensation .
Considering you have 2 serial ekg and both are normal you can be rest assured . If you wish to rule out herat attack the est waay is doing a blood investigation Troponin , considering 6 hours have already passed since the chest pain onset , if normal , one is 99 % sure its not the heart .
However your history doesnt fit into heart attack
Coming to your last query ?
Yes one can have a heart attack with chest pain , but that is common in very old age , diabetes or kidney disease where your nerve which carry pain sensation are weak . In a 30 year old make , its highly unlikely that you will have heart attack without any anginal pain .
Hoping i could help you . You need to calm down and that the best treatment as anxiety would increase GERD .
Let me know if any clarification is needed and i would be happy yo answer the same .

What would they feel like
Would i be able to work
My chrst hurts but feels like its burning snd stabing
Highly unlikely that its cardiac pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
Its highly inlikely that it would persist for the whole time with berable intensity.
As i had mentioned earlier such atypical prrsentations are more likely in old age , woman and people with co - morbidities like diabetes , kidney issues .
At 30 years of age when collaterals are not yet developed,
the pain would be of cresendo variety, it means it would increase as time pass untill it becomes unberable . lastly it would increase will all kinds of activities, like walking , or climbing stairs or even emotional stress as it increases workload on the heart .
You have to get over this fear . As you have mentioned you have already sone complete evaluation, i would suggest that you look for alternate cause and get it treated .
Let me know if any further help is needed and i am always on the other side to help.
Regards Dr Priyank Mody
