Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. I apologize for any delays that took place in answering your query sir as this is usually a busy time and there is a lot of traffic.
From your description, it seems like you have an underlying gastric condition which could be causing the symptom you described sir. In my experience I have encountered some of my patients also reporting of a similar presentation and all of them have been diagnosed with gastric conditions.
The possibilities include:
-Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
-Simple acid reflux
-Esophagitis
-Hiatus hernia
-Gastritis
and a few other conditions sir.
I would recommend a visit to your doctors to get elaborately evaluated including investigations like:
-24-hour acid pH monitoring
-Upper GI endoscopy
In the meantime, you could start following my below listed suggestions (until you can schedule an appointment with your doctor sir):
-Drink plenty of water
-Avoid heavy meals
-Avoid alcohol
-Avoiding smoking
-Avoid spicy food
-Take medications like tums or gelusil; along with famotidine (Eg. pepcid AC), or ranitidine, etc; and prisolec (omeprazole)
-Reduce exercise level till your doctor can examine you as exercise increases acid production which can in turn aggravate your symptoms.
I hope you find my response helpful sir. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.
Best wishes sir.

Explained sir
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again sir.
In gastritis and a few other gastric conditions, the inner lining of the stomach which is usually accustomed to the acid produced in the stomach, can deal with the acid but not for too long. Due to various factors including infection, the inner lining of the stomach is irritated by this acid causing a reaction any other part of your body would to acid: burning sensation or pain. This pain at times is even triggered by bloating due to the distension of the stomach by the gases produced within.
Contrary to layman belief, the stomach is not located where the abdomen is but is closer the to heart than you think. Thus, irritation of the stomach does mimic symptoms of chest pain at times and other cardiac events.
I hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you sir. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
