Brief Answer:
Chest pain could be due to anxiety but should be evaluated.

Hi, thanks for asking from HCM
I can understand your concern. I'd like to tell you that mild chest pain is a common symptom seen in anxiety. But since you have history of pulmonary embolism so if you are having chest pain then that should be evaluated.
Chest pain, breathlessness, difficulty in breathing, rapid breathing etc are common symptoms. Some times blood in sputum is also seen. So visit your doctor again and ask for re-evaluation.
Thanks. Take care

Brief Answer:
Pulmonary embolism pain is severe and in back of chest.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
Pain in pulmonary embolism occurs as severe pain also in back of chest while you are having low grade pain. Most likely its due to anxiety but still I'd advise you for evaluation at least once.
Thanks.
