What Causes Chest Pressure And Upper Back Pain?
Question: I have a feeling of a something in my throat and chest pressure and upper back pain. I have had a scope and ct scans and everything was fine, i did have h-pylori. The NP thinks it is Globus Hystericus does that cause chest pressure and back pain? The pressure seems to be getting worse it feels like a bad case of bronchitis and is starting to feel more like pain than pressure.

Anxiety of course can give such symptoms. However if the back pain is on the left side, heart issues like arrhythmia or ischemic heart disease should be considered as well. Sometimes heart arrhythmia give a feeling of noodles or pulsation in the throat.
If the pain is well localized, sharp and gets more intense when breathing and less noticeable when not moving the chest, rib nerve problem can be the reason. In such case I suggest you to consult orthopedist and consider spine MRI.
With possible heart issues please consult cardiologist.
