What Causes Chest Tightness, Breathing Problem And Goose Bumps On Right Leg?

Question: Hi I went to the ER last week for my chest feeling tight and my breathing feeling off. I had a complete cardiac work up in XXXXXXX and also visited an asthma specialist this past week. Both found nothing except pvcs which were considered benign. At the ER they ran a d dimer test which showed up as minimally postive at .69 where cut off is .5 I was told that gals positives are common they ran a cat scan with contrast which was negative. Now on Thursday night I started to notice my right leg feeling heavy and pressurey. The lower half of my leg (feels tired). I am also getting random goose bumps on only my right leg. I have driven a lot the past three days much more then I'm used to and have also slept on a couch the past three days. My right foot also feels colder. And I have a sore spot on my lower back on the right side. Should I chalk these feelings up to anxiety and driving a lot or do I need to be concerned? I am 28 and am otherwise healthy and not over weight

Brief Answer:
Probably Anxiety.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Deep Vein thrombosis (DVT) doesn't cause goose bumps. It can vary from asymptomatic episode to severe pain, squeezing , redness , swelling in legs.

However since your D dimer was slightly positive , my recommendations would be to go for a Venous Doppler of legs.

Most likely this is anxiety but we should be sure.
Get a Doppler done today itself and write back to me with the reports.

I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Brief Answer:
That's Ultrasound

Detailed Answer:
Hi, venous doppler is simply an Ultrasound of the leg vessels and is a simple non invasive test.
Good Luck.

I ended up going to the er again they did not repeat bloood work but did ultrasound of my leg which came back negative howevere knee and leg is feeling worse my right foot feels much colder, feels like there is a tight band around me knee and my leg feel heavy and like there is discomfort. It feels strange/ like almost dead to walk on. Do you have any ideas im nervous they missed a clot they did not do a other d dimer test. The er thought maybe a pinched nerve they had no idea.
Please any advice would be helpful

Brief Answer:
Seems to be Radiculopathy.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.
It's very unlikely that the person who did the Ultrasound of legs missed the clot as the technique is not difficult.
It seems to be a radicular pain that is pinched nerve.
You may see an orthopedician or a neurologist for evaluation.
I would recommend Pregabalin in such issues.
