
What Causes Chesty Cough Along With Metallic Taste?

Question: I have a slight chesty cough with a metallic taste after. Have had fairly severe reflux for few weeks and take Nexium for that. I get asthma but not usually with that taste

Metallic taste usually occurs after Nexium and even with medication of asthma.
So once you stop Nexium, your metallic taste will be gone in few days.
If cough is bothering, you can start with warm saline gargle, steam inhalation or even add a broncho dilator, if required.
