Brief Answer:
Allery possible

Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,

in most cases this is viral (cold/ flu like) but:

yes an allergy is also possible, common causes can get easily tested by prick skin test. If you were my patient, i would recommend some nasal spray (xylometazolin first short term to reduce sinus swelling, other allergy spray later once allergy is diagnosed). Also inhaling with hot steam, nsaid medication like ibuprofen and nasal douche is recommendable. In case of allergy antihistaminics should also be perscribed.

Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
