Question: i started to feel strange. i hate being around people.even my family and close friends. I talk to my self alot. Loudly. i imagine stuff that i cant describe. i always sleep , i prefer to stay alone then hang out. I dont feel comfortable around my family and i always have thoughts that they want to hurt me and ruin my life. i was forced to work something i dont like by my parents , years later i was forced to go to university and study what i dont like too. By my parents. everytime i tell them about the things i feel they never belive me. They think im making this up for some reason. I really feel lonley and sad , i always fail at uni and i cant concentrate no matter how easy the thing im studying is. Not only my studies. But everything in my life. I cant even speak out my thoughts properly. i dont know what to do and who to go to. I thought i try to ask a question here before i go to an actual doctor

Brief Answer:
It could be anxiety with depression

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

From the available description it appears that you are dealing with anxiety and depression. Some of the features such as chronic boredom, preference for solo activities, excessive sleepiness, feeling uncomfortable around people and inattentiveness resulting in failure at university are indicative of anxiety and depression.

In my opinion there is need to see a psychiatrist for further evaluation. She may ask you more details beginning from the childhood and may order some tests such as thyroid profile, hormonal profile and even brain scan before reaching final diagnosis.

Once diagnosis is reached she may offer you either medications or psychotherapy depending on the final diagnosis and your preferred mode of treatment.

I hope this helps you.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer for my future patients.
