Question: My wife has had a cough for about 4 weeks. She was diagnosed with sinusitis and we were told it could last up to 4 weeks. She awoke feeling symptoms of dizziness, lightheadedness, were chest feeling and cold.
Her blood pressure which is normally 110 over 70 is raised to 150 over 85. She has been taking delays for the cough at night to allow her to sleep. Temperature is 97.6. Pulse is 72

Brief Answer:
Better to get done chest x ray first.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your wife is having chronic cough.
And we should first rule out lung infection (pneumonia) in her case.
She is has taken antibiotics and still not improving.
Chest tightness, dizziness, cold, high blood pressure etc are seen in lung infection.
So in my opinion, we should first get done chest x ray to rule out pneumonia.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
