What Causes Chronic Low Platelet Count?

Alcohol can cause the mentioned problem.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
Chronic low platelet count is quite commonly seen. But let me tell you that the value of 1,30,000 is not a very low level and there is no need to panic.
But as rightly said by your doctor , it would be wise to get a liver and spleen study by USG as many times enlarged spleen can also lead to such hematological derangements. Moreover your daily alcohol can also be responsible for a low platelet count as alcohol suppresses the the bone marrow and may reduce the platelet count.
Try leaving alcohol if not not a hcomulsory habbit and also get a USG of liver and spleen done. Both the advice of your doctor and takable.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
