What Causes Chronic Pain In Feet?
Question: Hi my name is XXXXXXX XXXXX and I have been experiencing really bad feet pain all of my life. The pain is random most of the time it just comes out of nowhere like me laying in bed or sitting. I have a flexible flat foot and wore foot inserts when I was younger but stopped because I didn't like them, The pain is on the outside and goes up to my ankle and basically my whole entire leg. It mostly in my left but can sometimes occur in my right. Its horrible horrible pain and I feel like my leg and foot need to pop or stretch because its so tight. Do I need orthodoxs or surgery?
Brief Answer:
It can be muscular pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. It is not common to have such pain at your age. It can be a muscular pain. But before I advised you any thing I want to know few details about your illness.
1. What do you do? I mean do you play games or stand for long time? Are you overweight?
2.Is this pain present since years with same intensity and nature? Have you noticed any change?
3.Are you taking any medicines?
4. Are you also having anxiety, unable to sleep and eat properly.
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.
Thanks

I don't really do anything really no sports or anything I use to play tennis and dance but I stopped cause of my pain! I'm not overweight I'm 92 pounds because I was premature as a baby! I don't really have any physical activity I just walk around a lot at school! Its been hurting me forever the same way the same kind of pain no change and no medicines! I have anxiety and I'm always hungry but I take antidepressants so ya! the pain is on the outside of my foot near the cubiod bone I feel like the bone needs to pop and I feel tension all through my knee and leg like achy! but oh I forgot sometimes advil helps and if the pain is at night it goes away after I sleep! but it always comes on randomly just out of nowhere! I did a flat foot test with water and I could see all my foot like everything
Brief Answer:
You need to improve nutrition
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I think you need to take care of three things.
1. Foot shape
2. Nutrition
3. Anxiety
I would suggest you to wear foot insole, this will decrease your flat feet. Since you are only fifteen, your foot is still growing. Using these support will ensure better shape in future.
You should take a rich protein diet with egg and fish. Also take calcium and vitamin D 3 tablets.
3. Check about your antidepressant with your physcian. You might need a higher dose.
I hope these steps will help in this pain. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions.
Thanks
