What Causes Clear Watery Penile Discharge?

Question: I have been having a clear liquid leaking from my penis. I have been tested twice and treated for an sti but was never confirmed the first time because they lost the sample and the second time i was never contacted which they told me that it meant everything is normal. Its still happening and have done some research and found something called hypersecretio urethalis. This seems to be whats going on with me. How do i treat this if this is the case.
Brief Answer:

1. Your age (please confirm if it is 34 years as mentioned).

3. Are you sexually active? If so, do you have multiple relationships?
4. The exact scenarios when such clear discharge occurs.
5. Any other symptoms that you have.

the answers to your questions are
1. yes i am 34
2.yes i masturbate
3.currently i am not since i noticed this and sought out the other treatment. that's since mid September.
4. There doesn't seem to be any exact scenarios. It can happen all day or a few times a day or not really at all. The last scenario is the rarest.
5. I do not have any other symptoms. The second time i had tests done they took urine and blood samples but never followed up about anything out of the norm.

Brief Answer:
Normal condition, does not require treatment

Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
Sorry for not being able to answer earlier. I have gone through the details mentioned. Since you already have ways to let out your semen even when you are not sexually active, the possibility of overflow (nocturnal ejaculation) can be ruled out.
Let me ascertain you that a certain amount of penile discharge is normal for men and on some occasions amount may be more than normal although the cause might be still unknown. This is what is being referred as hypersecretio urethalis. Since the possibility of urethritis due to sexually transmitted infections has already been ruled out, you need not worry. The condition does not need treatment and there is not much to be done to stop it.
I would not suggest repeating the same tests again and again. In case you want to be doubly sure and rule out the possibility of false negative test results, you can go in for more specific tests for Chlamydia which include Nucleic acid amplification tests (NAAT, to find the genetic material of Chlamydia), Nucleic acid hybridization tests (DNA probe test, Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA, EIA), Direct fluorescent antibody test (DFA) or chlamydia culture. Probably you could depend on the results this time.
Wish you all the best.
