What Causes Clogged Ears, Sore Throat And Eye Redness After Sexual Intercourse?

I have some mixed reports from doctors:
I met a girl of tinder on the 25th I don't know her Sexual history and we only deep kissed. I never saw her again. 1 day later on the sunday i began getting flu like symptoms blocked ears / sore throat and a very red eye (conjunctivitis). The sore throat got extremely severe I had to go to the doctor and he prescibed antibiotics (amoxil) and eye drops and said its conjunctivitis. After 7 days the sore throat didn't clear and it was very painful so go another lot of antibiotics (erythromycin) then 7 days of that.Exactly nearing the end of the second anibiotic 20days after the kissing episode I got a lump on my middle top lip with a hole in the middle it lasted 4 days then it was hard to notice( note i have never got a cold sore before). It looked like 1 blister, it didnt scab to a yellow nor were there multiple small blisters nor did it go bright red) and as I haven't had cold sores before not sure what it was. 3 days after it appeared ( as needed to wait till monday for doctors ) I went to the doctor who swabbed it and the PCR test was negative for HSV1/2 and he did a blood test IgG )which was negative. ( this was 23 days after exposure and 3 days since the blister on lip.
1) Are my symptoms and timeline evident with initial HSV exposure?
2) In initial exposure to HSV when does the cold sores normally develop as mine was 20 day mark and is mine a cold sore or another type of blister
3) the PCR test was done 3 days late was negative. is that accurate
3) Do i need anymore tests done or this is definitely not cold sore or HSV
Regards

Less likely to be HSV as PCR is negative
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
You developed a viral infection after your encounter. It is more likely to bee an infectious mononucleosis than Herpes simplex. The exacerbation with Amoxil is a clue to the same.
Usually the cold sore appears earlier if she had an active lesion and a negative PCR is very much against a HSV1 infection. The lesion is not very clear in the picture and I am unable to say whether it is a HSV lesion or not.
If you do a CBC , Monospot or antibodies to Ebstein Barr Virus at 6 to 8 weeks , you would be able to diagnose if it is an infectious mononucleosis.
I don't think you should be concerned very much. You could do HSV antibodies also can be tested at 3 to 6 months.
Best wishes,

I did get an EBV test done and results are:
EBV VCA I gG (Bi oPLI ex) Detected
EBV NA IgG Detected
EBV VCA iGM Not Detected
evident of pas not current EBV infection
What does that mean?
Can you show the pics to someone else in your team who can differentiate if its a cold sore or not like a dermatologist ?
Relax
Detailed Answer:
You have had an EB virus infection before but not a current infection as per the results. EA-D, IgG is if done detects an early infection.
The dermatologist colleague says it could be but not sure. Do you still have the lesion? If so can you upload the current picture from two different angles.
If the lesion has subsided, don't worry. Relax, nothing to be done now.
You can check the HSV antibodies after 8 weeks
Wish you good health and a good day

I have posted 4 high definition pictures at different stages when I had it.
Note:
-it didn't ooze a yellow substance
- It wasn't bright red
- it had like a hole in the middle
Is this what the first ever cold sore will look like 21 days post infection? Please get dermatologist to look as it doesn't match cold sores from google images
Unlikely to be herpes
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the new pictures.
The lesions do not look like herpes labialis.
The normal incubation period of Herpes labialis is 2 to 12 days and it appearing 21 days after the risky exposure is unlikely. Herpes labialis is very common and is not only a STD.
