What Causes Clot In Urine?
Breakthrough is likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I would like to know a little more about your cycles, their frequency and the duration, if you are on any form of hormone contraception and when you had your last period and how many days you would like to delay your cycle.
If you are due for your period now, this passage of clots could mean that the intake of hormone has not succeeded in delaying the period as you wished for; you may have received your natural period. Else, this could mean a breakthrough which can happen when the dosage is insufficient and can be controlled by increasing the dosage.
Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

I had the first tablet on the 22nd day ie 28th October and have been having daily at 9pm. Today I noticed two thin clots, so I immediately at 7 pm had 2 tablets of Primolut N as I need to make trips to temples.
Kindly advise, if this will stop has I have increased the doseage.
The current dosage may be enough.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
Let me clarify that the date of a cycle is counted from the day bleeding ensues. Thus, you have started the medication late and presuming that the bleeding has been for 4-5 days, you may have started the medication on day 26 or 27 and this is usually late to delay a period.
Moreover, when started late, the dosage should be high, for example, two or three tablets per day and not a single dose that you have taken till date. So, it appears as though you have received your natural period and if you still wish to try for postponement, you can try with the increased dose you are taking now.
Hope I have answered your query. Please get back if you need more information. I will be ready to help.

I have taken 2 dosage now and tomorrow again at the same time I will have same dosage. Can I take it earlier in the day say one in the morning and One in the night.
Will the period stop if it is natural period by having extra dosage
Difficult to stop an ensued period.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing again.
It would be better if you can space the doses at least twice a day to have even hormone levels throughout the day; sometimes, thrice a day medication also may be needed.
If a natural period has already ensued, it may be difficult to hold it off even with medication and with high doses, though it may be possible, side effects are more and sometimes become intolerable.
Hope I have clarified your query. Please contact for further information. I will be available to help.
