Brief Answer:
Thyroid

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to learn about your symptoms. They are highly suggestive of an inadequately replaced thyroid.
When was the last time you had your TSH and free T4 checked?

The target range for TSH for a young healthy adult is about 0.5 to 2.5. Has yours been at goal recently?

When I see someone like you in my practice, I order the following tests in addition to a thorough physical examination:
CBC
CMP
TSH
Free T4

Your pulse rate is quite low. It can occur in a grossly under-replaced thyroid. Regardless, in view of your overall other symptoms it is judicious to go to the emergency room

About ten minutes ago my period started. The heavy chest is gone, I can catch my breath and other than achey chest and arms my pulse rate is now steady between 55-62. Should I still go to the emergancy room?
