Brief Answer:
not a possibility

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HCM.
Chronic symptoms dating to 3 years which do not progress are unlikely to be due to malignancies.
A brain tumor would produce other symptoms like headache, seizures, weakness of hand and leg on one side and vomitings.
As you mentioned that you have anxiety, it itself explains the cause of confusion, especially while driving where you need pinpoint concentration.
Try to have good sleep, try meditation and yoga and see the difference. If you don't improve, you may consult your doctor.
All the best.

Brief Answer:
yes

Detailed Answer:
Possible.
There is a thin margin of difference between stress related word deficit and psychosomatic problems. Either of the two is a possibility here.
Some neurological diseases also present this way but is not likely to be the cause in your case.
Try the above tips and see if they work for you. If not, you may consult a neurologist to rule out an organic cause.
All the best.

Answered by Dr. Vaddadi Suresh (21 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
stress..yes

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
stress and anxietyare symptoms whereas hypochondriasis is a disease
if there is frequent suspicions of having multiple diseases without any symptoms then the possibility of hypochondriasis cannot be ruled out.
Anyways, in the present situation, it is wise to believe that a neurologist consultation will help you in attaining proper diagnosis.
All the best.

Do you think it could be alziemers or stroke? Something life threatening just want piece of mind till I get to the doc. I think it's anxiety related where I have had it 3 years with no change

Brief Answer:
no.

Detailed Answer:
Alzeimers is a disease cthat occurs in people more than 70 s. Your age doesn't qualify for alzeimers!!
Stroke results in various symptoms like paralysis, facial deviation etc..
So neither is a possibility. Mostly it is Anxiety or stress related.
