What Causes Confusion And Anxiety?

Question: I have been experiencing slight confusion mostly while driving for the last 3 years. Not got any worse. I have bad anxiety and worry a lot no other symptoms could this be a brain tumor
Brief Answer:
not a possibility
Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HCM.
Chronic symptoms dating to 3 years which do not progress are unlikely to be due to malignancies.
A brain tumor would produce other symptoms like headache, seizures, weakness of hand and leg on one side and vomitings.
As you mentioned that you have anxiety, it itself explains the cause of confusion, especially while driving where you need pinpoint concentration.
Try to have good sleep, try meditation and yoga and see the difference. If you don't improve, you may consult your doctor.
All the best.

Thank you also I can lay in bed and sometimes feel like I'm not really at my house. I know where everything is but I feel disiriented. And get lost gif words in the middle of my sentence. Could anxiety cause all of these
Brief Answer:
yes
Detailed Answer:
Possible.
There is a thin margin of difference between stress related word deficit and psychosomatic problems. Either of the two is a possibility here.
Some neurological diseases also present this way but is not likely to be the cause in your case.
Try the above tips and see if they work for you. If not, you may consult a neurologist to rule out an organic cause.
