Brief Answer: OTC pain killers and X-rays Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX For the time being you can take Dolo 650 1 tablet in the evening before bed or Tablet Brufen 200mg before bed. These should help with the pain. Id they do not help after 3 to 3 days of use, then we will need to get some x-rays of the affected joints as well as your neck. Vinay

Brief Answer: Position of your ride Detailed Answer: It seems as though your riding position is causing you the pain. In which case that leads me to believe that the spinal muscles which support your spine are weak. The best long term solution is to strengthen these muscles. I do not like prescribing medications for such things long term as they have their own long term problems (kidney and liver damage). I would much rather that you find a good physical therapist close to home and learn back strengthening exercises from them and do those exercises regularly. The pain should go away in a few weeks of regular exercise. In the mean time you can use dolo 650 or Brufen for occasional pain relief. Make sure you drink plenty of water when taking these medications. Vinay
