Brief Answer:
Additional tests should be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Can understand your concerns.

Any fever whether it's a viral or bacterial, takes some time to decrease. White cells elevation suggests infection.

If fever persists beyond 24 hours then blood test like malarial antigen test, CRP levels and blood culture should be done.

Cold sponging should also be done if fever doesn't decrease. Head pounding can occur in high fever. Continue tynelol for fever.

Review with all your reports.
I hope this will help you.
