Question: my stomach is constantly gurgling. What do you think?
Brief Answer:
Please give additional information and post reports of investigations
Detailed Answer:
Hi.,
Thank for your query, albeit short and specific.
Read and understood the history of constant gurgling.
I remember to have our interaction on July 4, 2015.
There looks to be persistence of the symptoms or may be re-occurrence.
Please give more details about any investigations and/or treatment taken during this period.
My thoughts:
As we discussed in past, it is important to have proper investigations to get the exact cause.
Awaiting for the details so that we can discuss further.

Brief Answer:
To get the diagnosis at the earliest as discussed below.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Noted your additional history.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Test of stool for three consecutive days.
Tests of blood for CBC, thyroid function tests and as needed after clinical evaluation.
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen, including enteroclysis or enterography.
colonoscopy and biopsy.
If there is any finding, you can get treated accordingly.
If all the relevant investigations are within normal limit, then the treatment will be on the basis of a probable diagnosis of IBS, that is irritable bowel syndrome.
Also needed are:
To make a list of the foods and beverages that instigate or enhance the problem and to stop them altogether.
Control of anxiety and/or stress if present.
Since you have also lost weight, it is imperative to have all the tests to rule out any disease as explained above.
I hope this answer helps you.
