Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!
Your symptoms could be related to an inner ear disorder or orthostatic hypotension.
I would like to know your current therapy. How long have you had these troubles? Did you make any changes to your therapy lately?
What about your blood pressure values?
I would recommend you to measure your blood pressure values in sitting and standing up position. If there is a decrease in your blood pressure more than 20mm Hg, it would indicate possible orthostatic hypotension.
If you feel dizzy even when changing your head position while sitting or standing, it would indicate an inner ear disorder.
If you have made any changes to your therapy lately, nausea should be considered as an adverse effect related to your drugs.
Nevertheless, if you have not made any change to your therapy, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical exam and some tests:
- a resting ECG
- a chest X ray study
- complete blood count for anemia
-PCR, ESR for inflammation.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Meanwhile, I recommend having some rest and taking metoclopramide 10mg for nausea if it is very disturbing. Taking plenty of water would be helpful in case of low blood pressure.
Kind regards,
Dr. Iliri
