What Causes Constant Pain In Incision Site After Vaginal Hysterectomy?

Question: Hi, I had a vaginal hysterectomy + repair last Tuesday, I have constant pain of where the sutures between the vaginal and anal area and have yellow discharge in the last two days. On Saturday I develop a slight temp but none since however I do feel nauseous upon walking. Appetite has significantly decreased. I feel I have an infection but not too sure as discharge does smell but could be of urine. I am taking ibufren and panadol for pain relief. Advice?
Brief Answer:
Have a gynecologic exam
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern but I will try to help you .
Vaginal discharges with yellow color and smell(do you use enough water during the day?),feeling nauseous ,slight temperature can be due to any infection .
Did your surgeon prescribe you any Antibiotics after hysterectomy ?
Hence better is to have a gynecologic exam with vaginal swab to exclude infection.
Have Sitz baths with warm water adding betadine (polividone XXXXXXX ) three to four times per day ,until you will go to doctor.
Try to use much more fluids (especially water).
All the best and fast recovery
