Brief Answer:
See orthopedic surgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

It seems that a nerve is getting pressed at the backbone. Most such back pains resolve in one month. Try precautions like avoid lifting heavy weights (child), use semi-hard (or orthopedic) mattress, take adequate rest, avoid prolonged sitting in office or at computers, take calcium supplements and appropriate pain killers like ibuprofen, etc.

Since pain has not resolved in one month, I will suggest that you see an orthopedic surgeon for further tests.
