What Causes Constant Pulsation Behind Neck?
Question: I have constant pulsation at the back of neck, no pain just throbing.

There are few possible causes.
In first case this can be sign of carotid vessels disorders such as stenosis or atherosclerosis so you should do doppler ultrasound to rule this out. second this can be sign of cervical spine degenerative disease which is common in your age and third it may be some other neurologic related pain so you need more detailed neurologic work up. till that try to rest, take nonsteroid painkillers and put some warm compresses on neck area.
