Intestinal contrast study / CT scan
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
Noted that he was a heavy drinker for 25 years which he has quit for 25 days - that too due to sickness - pain is very bad - lost 25 lbs - pain is all over abdomen - BMs normal -
Low back pain going to the legs
This is indicative of some spinal problem like say sciatica or so.
* Daily vomiting green stuff with severe pain all over abdomen, weight loss and nausea all the day is indicative of possibility of intestinal obstruction.
I would advise him the following:
Enteroclysis with contrast (barium or water soluble contrast dye) bowel study to find out the reason may help to get a proper diagnosis.
Added investigations of stool, blood, urine and CT scan of the abdomen can help further.
