Brief Answer:
It is normal!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Side effects of medications do not generally resolve as soon as the drug is discontinued. It might take several days or a few weeks for some to actually regress completely. There is nothing to be concerned to it and for neomycin/polymyxin, this is not uncommon. As long as these symptoms are not too worrisome, exercise patience and all will be fine.

I hope this clarifies your worries. I wish you well and feel free to follow up with me if need be.
