What Causes Constipation, Anal Fissure And High Fever?
Question: Hi, I suffer from constipations it has been years; i developed an anal fissure; when it bleeds i get a high fever for 24 hrs that i treat with panadol and after 24 hrs everything is back to normal; can you please help me understand the cause of the fever? Thx

Thanks but my question is: why i am getting this fever? All people i know have fissures or had fissures at a certain stage but wihtout fever; why in my specific case i am getting this fever that lasts for 24 hrs and goes with just panadol without antibiotics or anything; is it normal to have this inflammation with fissure?or i have to investigate more about it? My specialist requested a very long list of blood tests and after he saw the results he told me everything was normal!
Sorry for asking again but is it possible for some patients that the contact of bowel with the blood of the fissure causes the inflamation? Is this something common or i need to do some tests to investigate the presence of a problem somewhere else? Thanks
