Question: I have sgpt little bit high doctor advice me udiliv 300.After having udiliv 1 month twice daily. Still I HV faching cinstupition problem and gas problem .pls advice

Thanks for posting your query.

I presume after taking udiliv your sgpt has come to control. Because if it is not then the cause of elevated sgpt has to be evaluated and treated.

Noe coming to your constipation and gas , it can occur due to side effect of the medicine Udiliv. In that case it shall subside in 2-3 days. Hence no need for any medication or tests for 2-3 days. In this period eat more of vegetables and fruits and drink plenty of water. Also avoid non veg food.


If your problems persists even after 3 days then you use a laxative like Cremaffin and also you will need to undergo certain tests to know the cause of your problems.
These tests are CBC, LFT, Serum Lipase and Ultrasound Abdomen.
