Brief Answer:
Burping very important

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Dear Mr XXXXXX,

Babies on exclusive breast feeding do not usually have green stools. They have yellow stools with white granules over it also known as milk stools. Babies have their own stools frewuency, they may pass stools once a day, twice a day or even once in every days. If they are accepting feeds well, no redness in the anus region there is no cause for concern.

If you XXXXXXX is vomiting only little quantity of feeds , it is likely to be due to improper Burping.
These could be cause of vomiting

1. Improper Burping: This is the most commonest cause, usually babies only regurgitate small percentage of feeds consumed

2. Gastro-oesophageal reflux: Very much likely if they passively regurgitate their feed

3. Other Causes

I would suggest you the following

1. Continue exclusive breastfeeding
2. Proper Burping

Do get back to me if the symptoms still persists

Take Care

Brief Answer:
Burping after every feeds important

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Dear XXXXXXXX,

Baby has to be thoroughly burped everytime after feeds ( till you hear the burping sound). Good technique and supervision is very important. Many of the mothers do not burp effectively due to several reasons like
1. They do not know the right technique
2. Short time for burping
3. Making baby sleep immediately after feeds
4. Too tired to burp the baby especially during night

Adequate urine output and exclusive breast feeding are very reassuring

I would advise the following

1. Adequate burping by right technique for right duration (10 minutes) after evry feeds
2. Gastric motility increasing drug like Domperidone will be helpful

If the problem still persists then consultation with Pediatric Surgeon will be required to rule out Infantile Hypertrophic Pyloric Stenosis(IHPS).

Do keep me updated.

Take Care
