What Causes Constipation Post Intercourse?
I recommend using laxative at this point.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
First, if there is any chance that your anus or rectum have been injured (e.g. pain, bleeding), then do go in to be seen promptly as that may need repair (stitches).
Given that you have not been able to have a bowel movement in the past 3 days since the incident you describe, it would be a good idea to use a laxative at this time. It may be possible that you will be able to move your bowels without it, but as time passes, the unpassed stool becomes harder in consistency, and if there is any inflammation from the penetration, this could be uncomfortable.
I would start with a stool softener such as Docusate (Colace, Dulcolax) as this won't cause cramping as much as a stimulant laxative will.
Drink plenty of water and also you can consider a small glass of prune juice at bedtime.
If this doesn't help, you may want to go in to be seen to make sure the stool has not been impacted by the force of the anal penetration you had.
I hope this helps and you are feeling better shortly.
Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
