What Causes Constipation When Diagnosed With Endometrial Hyperplasia?

My mother died at 74 in 1972 of a "blocked intestine." She refused surgery -- was this likely uterine cancer that I may have inherited?
Endometrial biopsy is needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
It seems that you have a thickened endometrium. This can be due to the hormonal pills that you have taken for 15 years. It can be precancerous. Endometrial biopsy is needed to find the cause of this thickening.
The need of surgery will depend on the biopsy report.
Constipation that you have is not related to this thickened endometrium. The blocked intestine is also not likely to be related to any cancer and is not genetically transmitted.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
