What Causes Cough After Eating Sugar Or Drinking Alcohol?

Cough after eating a particular item could mean that you are allergic to that item.
Here is what you should do
1. go to a general physician to rule out pharyngitis
2. If there is no pharyngitis please get an absolute eosinophil count to rule out allergy
3. abstain from sugar and alcohol until you get tests done
I have had one patient who had a similar issue, he was finally investigated and found out to be diabetic. Please get yourself tested for diabetes as well
