What Causes Cough, Cold And Loss Of Appetite In A Child?
Question: Hello Doctor,
My daughter is 4 years old and usually suffer from cough and cold. She is fussy about eating and her meals/ food intake is: rice, dal/ beans curry, paratha/ roti (chapatti), milk and soya milk. No fruits or leafy vegetables. To increase her immunity, would a recommend a multi-vitamin chewable tables? Will appreciate your advice. Thanks, XXXX. So give her tablet beplex forte or tablet one up gold or tablet A to Z.
Give it once daily after lunch.
Additional advice. Get done allergy testing to rule out allergy in her case.
So get done eosinophil count and serum IgE.
If it is raised then she will benefitted by combination of antihistamine (levocetrizine) and anti allergic (montelukast) drugs.
So please let me know if she ever had these tests.
