Brief Answer:
Better to get done PFT first.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your concern.
Your symptoms like cough, phlegm, chest tightness and allergy, are suggestive of asthma.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and PFT ( pulmonary function test). PFT is must for the diagnosis of asthma.
You may need inhaled corticosteroid and inhaled bronchodilators, along with montair FX.
So get done PFT first.
And yes, moving from allergic place is definitely helpful in symtomatic relief.
So please let me know
1. Have you ever undergone PFT?
2. Do you have wheezing and breathlessness?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions,so that I can guide you better.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
