Well a 5 day duration of cough with blood doesn't indicate any serious condition. You could be either having throat infection or lung infection.

I would recommend only two tests for you.
1. Throat swab culture sensitivity test.
2. Chest x ray.

You need to be started on an antibiotic course. Get a prescription for levofloxacin from your doctor and use it.

Do salt water gargling, drink hot water, eat less oily food, avoid non veg food and avoid citrus fruits.
