What Causes Cramps In The Left Side Of Stomach?

Question: I have been experiencing cramps in the left side of my stomach below the ribs and it is unbearable. It keeps coming back and also constipation for the last 2 days. I have taken 3 teaspoons of duphalac and a Drotin DS as per the company doctors suggestion.
Brief Answer:
Get to a doctor soon
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
What ever the treatment you got was just symptomatic. I do not think you should ignore the cause of the problem.
When you said it is unbearable pain it suggest emergency. I would suggest to meet General surgeon and may be Ultrasound of abdomen to understand the nature of the pain. It could be from ulcer, spleen, colon or pancreas. If you have pain you cannot put pressure to defecate because of pain. So reach a doctor as soon as possible.
Hope this gives you direction.
