Hi,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having cricolharyngeal spasm. I would like to ask you few more details.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be reflux esophagitis.
I suggest you to follow these measures to over come your spasms.
1. Consult an ent surgeon, get laryngoscopy (to see lesions of deeper throat,voice box), manometey (esophageal motility disorders). Depending on the findings, treatment can be started.
2. start ppi inhibitor (Prilosec) twice daily, half an hour before food and tab. domperidone (domstol) once daily, pro kinetic for prevention of excessive motility of esophagus.
Mean time, stop smoking and alcohol (if you are with these habits), keep 3 hours interval between dinner and sleep, keep head elevation (support the head with extra pillows during sleep), avoid consuming spicy, junk foods and carbonated water containing breverages, weight reduction ( if you are obese), regular walk, stress free life style.
Kindly discuss with your treating doctor, , as they are prescribed medications, needs to be taken under medical supervision.
